Foo Fighters Waiting on a war coverAfter a long wait for the band’s performance, the Foo Fighters canceled F1 Abu Dhabi Concert Over ‘Medical Circumstances’.

Rock band Foo Fighters canceled their Dubai date due to “unforeseen medical circumstances” and consequential inability to travel, event organisers Flash Entertainment said. “Due to unforeseen medical circumstances, Foo Fighters will not be performing at the #AbuDhabiGP #Yasalam After-Race Concert on Sunday,” organizers posted on Instagram. “The band apologises for any inconvenience or disappointment caused by this unexpected turn of events. Stay tuned for further updates.”

Before the scheduled concert, the band performed in Fresno, California, three days before, on Thursday, December 9. Everything seemed fine back then, but something happened in the next few days. In fact, the band stopped in Chicago due to this unexpected emergency while on their way to the race.

Nor the band or the organizers released any further detail about the medical issues. Moreover, to date nothing new appeared on the band or the members’ social accounts to explain the emergency. In fact, the band only addressed their Christmas wishes to the worried fans.

Foo Fighters New Albums

Especially after the release of the 2021 albums, the band felt deeply missed. In fact, in 2021 Foo Fighters released both a studio album and a live album. “Medicine At Midnight,” their February studio album, reached incredible results. It charted first in the Billboard US Top Rock Albums, in the UK Rock & Metal Albums and even in the UK Albums. It also charted third in the US Billboard 200!

As for the live album, “Dee Gees/ Hail Satin- Foo Fighters: Live,” it includes the performance of both Dave Grohl’s band and and Dee Gees. The ten songs win the album are equally divided in the two bands. The album appears as an interesting combination of Bee Gees’ cover and alternative rock sounds straight from the Seattle band’s 2021 album.
