Rising pop artist Frawley unveiled her new single “If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry,” following up on “Kiss And Tell.”

Frawley Went Viral on Tiktok

If you use the social media platform TikTok, you probably already know who Frawley is. The rising singer-songwriter recently went viral thanks to sharing a snippet of her new single “If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry,” and this honestly comes as no surprise. The song is absolutely stunning and highlights her vocals along with the beautiful music magnificently.

“If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry” tells the story of heartbreak and regrets. In it, Frawley sings about going through a breakup and feeling unsure if she has completely moved on from that relationship. “Went out the other night with all my friends. Started to feel like me again. Hadn’t been that happy in a while. Had drinks and we put a sad song on. You’re oh so casually brought up. There goes my night and goes my smile,” she sings in the opening verse.

The Meaning Behind “If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry”

“Writing ‘If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry’ felt like breaking my own heart all over again,” Frawley says. “What was supposed to be a fun night out with my friends, turned into me having to get over him all over again. Not going to lie, sometimes it feels like I’ll never stop trying to get over him but I’m learning that’s part of the healing process. I wanted the verses to be a relatable narrative with the chorus being the anthem for actually getting over someone. I think the song resonates with so many people because it’s such a universal experience that tends to go unspoken.”

And she is absolutely right. I think that the attention that the song has already gotten from millions of people going through the same situation understand how painful this is. So, go listen to Frawley’s new song “If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry” and tell your friends about it!
