Rapper and music producer Gerald Earl Gillum, known to the public as G-Eazy or Young Gerald, released his new album “These Things Happen Too” to close out September.

The name of the album recalls his debut album “These Things Happen”

In his fourth album the 32 year-old rapper, born in Tempe and raised in the Bay Area, reminisces about his life and the most crucial moments of his life. On the other hand, what made him a star is what caused his downfall along with scandals. These were followed by addiction and personal disappointment.

In this album he pointedly discusses his failed relationships, his drug addiction and the consequences this had on him personally and musically, and his feelings of loneliness and self-doubt. Moreover, he talks about his childhood and teenage years in the Bay Area and about his family.

2021 found him  busy by February, G-Easy released his single, “Provide” featuring Chris Brown and Mark Morrison. This summer, he was featured on the Diane Warren penned, “She’s Fire.” On September, 24th he released the single “Breakdown” in collaboration with the famous singer Demi Lovato. “Breakdown” is one of the songs of the new album. In the 19-track album there’s also a rap version of Chris Isaak’s ’80s famous hit “Wicked Game.” He also released a Deluxe version of the album, where also “Provide” is present.
