Internet Money’s resident pop and R&B crooner lilspirit releases his new single “4ever” available now. “4ever” buzzy pop track where lilspirit declares “this is the end of you and me 4ever” over a phased guitar and synth bass line.
In addition, the single arrives after the young artist’s
biggest year yet. Lilspirit dropped his debut album american spirit in May and appeared on the star-studded Internet Money album, B4 The Storm, in August.
Previously in October 2019, L.A.-based singer/songwriter lilspirit put out a self-produced single called “ugly.” The stark R&B-pop song spoke unapologetic truths about toxic relationships. Now, the emo-pop singer is upping the energy with “4ever”.
Along with producing songs for Ellise, the 19 year-old is a member of the emerging Internet Money Records collective. The producer collective and record label co-founded by Taz Taylor and Nick Mira. They are responsible for hits like “Lemonade” with Nav and Gunna.
In terms of sound, Lilspirit uses heavenly acoustic guitar melodies paired with the always trendy 808 basslines. His writing and voice create songs like “Devastated” that are reminiscent of a Justin Beiber hit. The young musician has been closely compared to heavy hitters like The Kid Laroi, Juice Wrld, 24kGoldn and got to work with them on B4 The Storm.
Above all, Lilspirit has been working on his material and tapping into his talent for crafting melodies. His rapid progress in 2020 proved that dedication and craftsmanship pays off. Lil Spirt has released three recent singles– “Serpent”, “You”, and “4ever”–and leading up to something big. Now, in 2021, he is ready to cash in with his next project spiritworld later this year.
