Last week, lyrical genius and avid speed rapper Logic released “new” music all a part of his return from retirement. The YS Collection is the first we’ve heard from the rapper since the early release of 2020’s No PressureAfter going through a few ups and downs in his personal life, Bobby announced his departure from the rap game, but it was short-lived

Like any good love story, he couldn’t keep himself away for too long. Logic is stepping back into his persona with a collection of songs just for his die-hard fans.

YS Collection, Vol. 1, or Young Sinatra Collection is a 16-track banger that features songs over 10 years old, prior to when the rapper got his record deal.

Spanning as far back as 2011 when Logic released his second mixtape, Young Sinatra, the collection has tracks from the mixtape trilogy that included 2012’s Young Sinatra: Undeniable and 2013’s Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever.

To end the compilation, Logic also added a new track, “Tokyo Nights”.

Get ready to be taken over with nostalgia as we get to hear hit Soundcloud tracks that put him on the map. Songs like “All I Do“, “One‘, and “Ballin” remind us of the crazy lyrism and undeniable talent the aritst has for conscious rap.

Logic’s Has A Clear Plan

It is great to see one of the best rappers of our time spring back into action. Not even a month ago, he officially released his statement on twitter of his return to music. If he is already releasing gems like this for his real fans, we can only imagine what he’s cooking up right now.

Although nothing has been announced, it is clear Logic is coming back better than ever and for all the right reasons. Be on the lookout this summer for him to drop some real new music for the fans, and who knows? We might even see an album too.
