American rock band Pinegrove recently released their fifth studio album, 11:11! And to anticipate the record, the band released the single Habitat.
11:11 is the fifth studio album of the rock band formed in Montclair, New Jersey in 2010, Pinegrove.
Two years after their last success, 2022 studio album Marigold, the band release the album fans were waiting for. Reflecting the group’s style, the alt-country and emo album arrives to support those who want listen.
“[T]o anyone discussing the climate crisis with their friends & family, to anyone phone banking, knocking doors, organizing their community — we offer this record as a gesture of support & solidarity,” say the five members of Pinegrove.
Few days before the release of the album, Pinegrove also released a new single, Habitat. First song of the band’s new record, the song kick off the record with great energy and intensity.
“It’s so still
How’d you do that?
You settled down my habitat
Downhill,” goes the song.
“When across the state is gone and dilapidated
And it feels a little bit empty
A riddle of empathy”
Together with the song, the band released the music video.
Pinegrove postpone the tour
Unfortunately, the band didn’t give fans only good news. In fact, as for many other artists, the band had to postpone some of the dates of their tour. “well folks, it’s a tour postponement post,” announced the band.
In January, Pinegrove’s tour should have kick off, but plans changed. “[T]he first half of the leg, through the canada dates” changed because of the “public health risk,” said the band on their social platforms.
“[B]ut what goes down must come up. (is that how it goes?)” and “we’re thinking these dates will now happen in july/aug.” These are the words of Pinegrove almost two weeks ago. And now they officially confirmed what once looked just as a mere hypothesis!
All the postponed concerts are rescheduled. Starting July, 21st in Montreal, Canada, the band will perform until mid-August.
And for those overseas, Pinegrove will also perform in Europe, starting May 8 in Dublin, Ireland! Click here to see more and get your ticket!
