The next big thing in rap, Lyrical Lemonade, has just announced this year’s Summer Smash Festival lineup. Headlining the event is Post Malone, Playboy Carti, Young Thug, and Gunna. The three-day festival is set to take place in Chicago from June 17th to 19th in Douglass Park.
Boasting some of the biggest names in hip-hop, the festival of course attracted many people. 90,000 in fact, from last year. This level of engagement is wonderful, especially considering that Lyrical Lemonade started as a YouTube channel. The supporting acts will be Wiz Khalifa, Rico Nasty, 2 Chainz and more. Plus, Lyrical Lemonade is still in touch with their roots by having debut rapper Yeat perform at the event. They has this to say:
“‘Today marks an exciting milestone for Summer Smash as we unveil our biggest music lineup to date. It’s been incredible to witness our fest grow into one of the largest annual music events in the country in only four short years.”
Tickets to the Chicago-based festival are available here. Be sure to mentally prepare yourself for the blow your wallet’s gonna take. Not to worry though they offer payment plans.
