Still Woozy returns with a stellar collaboration with Remi Wolf on their newest single “Pool.”
This marks only the third time Still Woozy has collaborated with another artist throughout his five year music career. With this collab being so unique, fans of both Still Woozy and Remi Wolf are loving the new single. Woozy’s other collabs include Lucy, which features the artist ODIE, and Ipanema, which features Omar Apollo and Elujay.
In an interview with Anternative Press, Woozy and Wolf talked about how this collab came to be. “‘Pool’ was such a beautifully natural collaboration — and is a great reflection of how life can just so seamlessly turn into art,” Wolf says. “It perfectly showcases mine and Woozy’s comfortability with each other and how both of our wildly different skill sets can create something that feels so true to both of us. We went into the writing process with the intention of being 100% honest and specific with where we were both at that day, and I love how when I listen to the song, it feels like a true time capsule to both of our life situations at the time.”
A Rising Star
After finding tremendous success with his first release “Vacation,” Woozy was shot into the indie music stratosphere. With a prominent bedroom pop feel and a unique sound, Woozy remains one of the top creators on the scene.
Naturally, this made Woozy and Wolf a perfect match. Both artists are self made, from-the-ground-up creators. Their followings have only grown over the years and are continuing to add to their repertoire.
Music Video Fun
The music video for “Pool” features vibrant colors and unique cinematography courtesy of director Haley Appell. This combination, mixed in with the new single, make for an entertaining music video for watchers.
