R&B star Victoria Monét is back with a new groovy new track. “Coastin’” is the perfect tune to jam out when driving around with your friends.

Victoria Invites You to Coast With Her

Earlier this year, Victoria shared her track “F.*.C.K.” to kick off the year. To keep the roll going, “Coastin’” offers a funky summer vibe that just makes us want to lay in the sun and enjoy the music.

Last year, Victoria released her last album JAGUAR, which has gained huge popularity. It ranked No. 5 on Rated R&B’s best R&B albums of 2020. Her songs “Experience,” “Moment,” and “A** Like That” all have surpassed 20 million streams, and the number keeps going up!

On “Coastin’” Victoria expresses wanting to spend more time with her special someone, and have some fun all over the country. “Just how you like. Feel like a Thursday how I’m throwin’ it back. I’ma make it go North, South, East, West coast,” she sings.

“If sunshine and a good time (and maybe a lil drank) were a song, it would be ‘Coastin’,” Victoria said in a press statement. “It’s made for people with that good, chill energy and the bassline instantly puts you in a certain feel! Shoutout to the Stereotypes for killing this production. We wanted this song to represent that freedom to finally go outside. After the year we’ve had, it feels even better to be able to finally Coast freely, make unforgettable memories, and have a good a** time. Might I add it sounds especially good in the car, poolside, or near any beach? Press play and let’s Coast!”

In October, Victoria will play at the Brooklyn edition of H.E.R.’s Lights On Festival. The performance lineup includes Maxwell, Ari Lennox, Bryson Tiller, Chloe x Halle, and many more. Tickets can be purchased here.
